It feels personal. Learning about the Bauhaus and their mission to unite art and industry gave me a framework for thinking about how to create systems, not just one-off objects. Looking back now, my initial vision of design seems so simplistic, so focused on the surface. The template is no longer a static blueprint created by a human designer; it has become an intelligent, predictive agent, constantly reconfiguring itself in response to your data. Sometimes the client thinks they need a new logo, but after a deeper conversation, the designer might realize what they actually need is a clearer messaging strategy or a better user onboarding process.
